Viikon korttihaasteet

On ollut sen verran kiireinen viikko, että en ole ehtinyt juurikaan askarrella, enkä edes laittaa blogiini jo askartelemiani kortteja. Jos nyt laittaisi kortit ennen kuin on liian myöhäistä...

It has been very busy week and I haven't really had time to make any cards, not even to post the ones I have already made. I will post them now before it is too late...

Ensimmäinen on Friday Sketchersin ja Penny Black Saturdayn yhdistelmä. Penny Black Saturdayssa aiheena oli tehdä kortti miehille, mutta sinistä ei saanut käyttää joten päädyin sitten ruskeaan. En ole oikein tyytyväinen korttiin, se on vähän vaisu. Nappeja minulla ei ole niin paljoa, että tähän korttiin olisi löytyneet sopivan väriset niin korvasin ne japanilaistyylisillä leimasimilla Hollannista ostamastani setistä.

First one is a combination of Friday Sketchers and Penny Black Saturday. In Penny Black Saturday the challenge was to make a card for men without using any blue. I'm not very satisfied with the card, somehow it is a bit boring. I don't have so many buttons that I would have found the suitable ones for this card so I used japanese style stamps from my new stamp set which I bought from Holland.

Mielenkiintoinen haaste jolle varmaan pitäisi antaa uusi mahdollisuus paremmalla ajalla!
Interesting challenge, I probably should give it another go on better day!

Toinen tämän viikon korttihaaste on Jehkottaren korttihaaste. Tämä haaste tuntui jotenkin tosi vaikealta, enkä ole tähänkään korttiin itse kauhean tyytyväinen. Malli on hyvä ja näkemäni tämän mallin mukaan tehdyt kortit ovat olleet hienoja, tämä ei nyt vaan minulta kerta kaikkiaan luonnistu. Voi tietysti olla, että kyseisenä päivänä ei olisi pitänyt askarrella ollenkaan. Tein nimittäin tämän samaan aikaan tuon edellisen kortin kanssa enkä ole kumpaankaan tyytyväinen. On selvästi päiviä jolloin mistään ei vain tule mitään ja kannattaisi kokeilla joku toinen kerta, mutta kun sitä on itsepäinen niin sitä sitten on eikä voi antaa periksi vaikka se ehkä viisainta olisikin.

Second challenge card for this week is Jehkotar CardChallenge. This challenge felt very difficult to make and I'm not very satisfied with this card either. It might of course be that I shouldn't have made any cards on that particular day. I made this and the previous card on the same day and I'm not satisfied with either of them. There are clearly days that you should try any crafting at all and it would be better to try some another day but when you are stubborn, you are and you just can't give up even when it would clearly be better...
